Alde Valley School builds on our unique ethos which focuses on each young person reaching their potential. Our motto “Achievement for All”, means that all learners have access to a curriculum which is exciting, rewarding and suits their needs. If a student wants to follow an academic route and obtain the English Baccalaureate, they can do so at Alde Valley. If a student wants to follow a skills based route, or a mixture of academic and skills courses, Alde Valley is the school of choice.

Our small high school setting enables staff to get to know all of our young people well, to focus on their particular needs with strong and effective pastoral support and through close monitoring of progress and regular feedback to parents. In addition, Alde Valley School promotes innovative learning and a very visible link with the world of work so that all students gain the skills to be successful in employment as well as the best qualifications they can achieve. Our school is rooted in our community and we strive to ensure that every student that would like to can take advantage of the many opportunities that will emerge in the huge development of the energy economy along our coastline in the coming decades.

Regardless of the choices young people make while they are with us, we can ensure that our proven track record of success will ensure they are fully prepared for the next stage of their lives. I would like to remind students that they should be fully prepared for learning at all times, and should wear the correct uniform and bring the correct equipment each day.
